What you get on a private desert safari
The difference starts at pickup. On a shared safari you wait while the driver collects three other groups from three other hotels. On a private tour the vehicle is yours — you leave when you want, stop where you want for photographs, and set the dune-bashing intensity to whatever your group is comfortable with. If someone gets motion sick or a child has had enough, you say so and the driver adjusts.
At the camp, VIP and majlis packages give you a reserved seating area rather than a spot on the shared carpets, with food brought to your table instead of a buffet queue. The Premium package includes air-conditioned rooms from May to September, which is the practical difference in a UAE summer.

If you're planning something, tell us when you book — the camp can arrange a decorated table, a cake, or a quiet section away from the main stage. Marriage proposals at the sunset point on the Lahbab dunes are common enough that our drivers know exactly where to stop and when the light is right.
Booking from Dubai and the Northern Emirates
Private tours include pickup from anywhere in Dubai — Marina, JBR, Downtown, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha, Mirdif and Al Qusais — as well as Sharjah and Ajman.
